Full of awesome

Road Trip Wednesday is a ‘Blog Carnival,’ where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question that begs to be answered. In the comments, you can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.

This Week's Topic:

What was the best book you read in Feb?

This time it was easy. my road trip meant that i couldn't read the number of books i wanted to but the BEST was easily
Book Cover: The Fault in Our Stars
It captivated me from start to finish and I can't express how much i hurt and loved it at the same time. I know I'm a bit late to this cos the buzz has been around for a while but I'm glad I finally took other RTW'ers advice and moved it to the top of my TBR pile!!

It made me ache to read it with some stuff pretty close to home but I love a book that can make me feel and this worked so well I'm still thinking about it.

If you haven't.... READ it!!

What about you, any good books in Feb?

  1. This isn't the first time I've seen that book mentioned today. I guess I better read it! Thanks for sharing :)

  3. TFIOS was so so so good. I couldn't put it down, even when I desperately wanted to (out of sadness, not boredom) toward the end. Beautifully written, honest, hilarious, and bittersweet.

  4. This book was all the talk of our thyroid cancer survivors board, with at least one "It's written so well you'd never know it was young adult!" Grrr

  5. I also hurt while reading the book, it was so beautiful and sad without being sad...Definitely a roller coaster of emotions!

  6. That "close to home" thing is the reason why I haven't read it yet. It's on my list -- just need to gear up for it emotionally.

    1. Strangely i chose a particularly tough week for our family in terms of anniversaries to read it. And I prob found it harder even than any other week. but it was still so good and was worth it.
