This Week's
Topic:
What yearbook "most" category (also known as superlatives) would your character win?
For my WIP it probably depends on when in the story the award was given. At the beginning it would definitely be 'MOST LIKELY TO BE FORGOTTEN BY MOST OF HER CLASS' and that's just the way she likes it. Fitting in, going under the radar... it works for her BIG time.
However by the end of the story she's changed. She's never going to be an extrovert but she's found her spunk. She'd be right up there for 'Most likely to confront her mortal enemy in front of the school' and 'Most likely to pull a prank that fools everyone'.
What about your characters? You?
Dang, I wish I had the gut to be. "Most likely to confront her mortal enemy in front of the school" It's interesting to see how much this character changes.
ReplyDeleteIn high school I was voted Drama Queen and Class Clown. I could only choose one so I picked Drama Queen. The title suites me more. :D
I don't have the guts for it either! Yay fiction!
DeleteThose superlatives win, hands down. High school would have been much more interesting if they had those (well, at least the mortal enemy one)

Sound like your character makes a big change, love it! Plus being both courageous and funny is a great combination.
ReplyDeleteShe does. And it's not at all easy.
DeleteOoo she sounds interesting. Lot of mystery about that prank she'd get the courage to pull. I like the sound of her. :) She seems cheeky!
ReplyDeleteYup, not at all like me. ;)
DeleteThose are terrific! She sounds like a great character - I'll bet the path to her big change is very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI hope it is!!
